Something old, something new...

Just wanted to share this beautiful ceiling rose that I found at Woolloongabba Antique Centre for our baby nursery.

The idea is to hang this in the centre of the room and suspend a beautiful, simple pendant light from it.



These old ceiling roses create an instant drama and when paired with the right light, creates an instant & beautiful connection of old and new.

Also, don't you just love the pink bunny light... a gift from my mother that was a feature in my own baby nursery many moons ago. Can't wait to continue the tradition and use it in our room...
